PLANTING ROSES IN THE GARDEN? THIS IS THE TIME!

Plant roses in pots in the garden
Roses like a spacious planting hole, wind through the branches, room to grow, lots of sun and good soil. Therefore, find a place in the garden that meets all these requirements. When planting rose bushes, make sure they are planted in groups. Three, four or five per square meter is perfect. It is best to plant a climbing rose close to the wall, in an extra spacious planting hole filled with good soil and manure.

With these steps you plant your roses correctly:

Find a good place where the roses get sun, wind through the branches, room to grow and good soil.
Make a large planting hole of at least 50×50 centimeters.
Improve the soil with a good amount of special rose soil. This keeps the soil around the roots fresh and maintains an active soil life.
Put the rose in the ground. Make sure that the root ball remains intact as much as possible when planting.
Give the rose plenty of water, especially in the first few days after planting.
Plant bare-root roses in the garden
Plant bare-root roses as soon as possible after purchase, preferably from October to March. Take the following steps into account:

First place the roses overnight in a bucket of lukewarm water.
Find a good place where the roses get sun, wind through the branches, room to grow and good soil.
Make a large planting hole of at least 50×50 centimeters.
Improve the soil with a good amount of special rose soil such as DCM Vivimus for roses. You can use this organic fertilizer when planting and when fertilizing annually.
Now you are going to plant the roses. Spread the roots well and place the shrub at the right depth. The frost-sensitive budding point (the thickening from which the branches emerge) must be about four to five centimeters below the ground.
Fill the planting hole with the improved soil, press well and water generously.
